Milan’s Nilufar Depot gallery presented the exhibition New Sculptural Presence, during the 2019 Design Week. The space hosting the exhibition has a strong industrial character, a perfect setting for an exhibition about creativity, novelties and innovation. Three young sculptors presented their ceramic work. The installation was a play with light and flexible elements, leading visitors through the space. Concepts of Time and Recycling were incorporated to the exhibition, emphasizing temporality through material selection. Dividers, perforated panels of unobtrusive colours, were designed to be kept for future exhibitions. They left the focus to the ceramic art pieces exposed, while allowing transparency and visual continuity throughout the space.
