Panerai’s 840 square-metre stand at the 2018 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva pays tribute to the identity of the Italian watch brand: its links to the sea, its Florence roots. The large lounge entrance has a ship-like atmosphere: a bow shape, a deck-inspired floor and rope wainscoting. Brushed brass counter and display cases, cobblestone glass walls, brushed oak complete the impression. Elegant and sophisticated, the space’s 17 rooms were each named after a different Panerai watch model, referenced with a photograph. Wood flooring and rugs created a comfortable, cocoon-like environment.
