Santoni Fuorisalone 2019

For Milan’s Salone del Mobile in 2019, Santoni and Cassina joined their creative forces to propose a tribute to Mario Bellini’s iconic armchair. The Cab armchair for Cassina, one of the most representative products of the renowned architect and designer, was revisited for the occasion for a series of retail spaces projects for the shoemaker. Proposed in three special editions, they are hand-painted by Santoni, with their emblematic patina. This process enhances the shaded effect and gives life to amazing hues on the tones of petrol blue, biscuit and sage green. A visual exercise aimed at translating the intangible idea of nuance into a sophisticated artisan product.
