Eneko Bilbao

The intention, for the interior design of chef Eneko’s new Bilbao restaurant, was to create a welcoming and functional space: more than just a restaurant, but a convivial place, where a concept of sharing is paramount. The materiality of the furnishing is underlined by essential and geometric shapes, rigorous materials and warm colours, combined with a contemporary language. Strong references to the Basque culture and geography are also present: wooden ceiling and raised sections recall the weaves of the caserios, the traditional local houses, together with stones, ceramics and ropes.
