Cassina showroom – Milan Design week 2022

For Milan Design Week 2022, Cassina presented The Cassina Perspective, bringing together innovative products and modern icons in a collection that reflects the brand’s distinctive design language. The presentation brought together new collaborations with established and emerging designers, alongside the launch of Cassina Details, a collection of accessories and complementary pieces designed to enrich the home. Among the highlights was Modular Imagination, created by Virgil Abloh in collaboration with Cassina and Patricia Urquiola. Exploring the possibilities of modularity through play, the project comprises two matt-black building blocks that can be combined to create and adapt space. At the Cassina Flagship Store in Milan, the installation was presented in an orange setting, with the showroom’s dome displaying the pieces in multiple configurations. The presentation also included a limited edition of the Soriana armchair by Afra and Tobia Scarpa, upholstered in Japanese denim, further connecting the worlds of fashion and design.
